Use The Thesis 301 Redirect For Affiliate Links

The latest version of Thesis, version 1.7 has numerous new features. One of them is the 301 redirect option. Let’s begin with what a 301 redirect really is. To keep things simple, it’s a way to redirect a URL on your site to point to somewhere else
Here are two situations where you’d want to use a 301 redirect
- If you’ve moved a page but still want to maintain link juice and prevent links to that page from ending up with a 404 error, or…
- If you practice affiliate marketing, you can “prettify” your affiliate links.
With this new Thesis 301 redirect options it makes it so easy to implement this functionality. I have personally used it for my Thesis affiliate link. For detailed instructions, watch the training video to learn how you can implement this for yourself.
