This is something I just discovered today while working on a new Thesis design. It seems that as of Thesis 1.8 Beta 2, the Google Font API has been tightly integrated into the Design Options. In the fonts section, included with the standard fonts that Thesis has offered to this point, you will now see the available Google fonts integrated into the list. This is pretty cool as it makes adding custom fonts really easy. Not that adding Google fonts is difficult, it’s just that you don’t have to bother with adding the applicable line of code to your site, or updating your custom.css file. The Google fonts are shown with an uppercase “G” beside the font name. Just select the font, and you’re done.
